I’ve done a lot of things in my career. I’ve been a geospatial data specialist, web map creator, Python teacher, PhD student, consultant, research manager, and a public policy advisor. All focused on climate risk and resilience.

But before all that, I was a girl who immigrated to Canada at a young age. I was always very creative and l loved solving puzzles. Sometimes I wonder if my life experience is what drew me to climate risk, resilience and adaptation. After all, moving to a new country, away from everything you’ve known, you have to be resilient and adaptable in the face of change, right?

Anyway, I created this space to share my experiences, past projects, and the occasional reflection. I also want to use this space to experiment with new things that catch my attention. 🚀

I hope this blog and what I share resonates with people, like those that are interested in getting into the climate risk space, are working on climate tech and policy, and have worn many hats like me. I’m interested in connecting and learning from you too.
